The Land

The Geography, Weather, and General Climate

01

The land of Nova Scotia is temperate, cold, rough, and can be a very wild place outside of the urban centers. It creates a very welcoming aroma to anyone who visits, from the fresh smell of the evergreen forests to the east, to the sight of the valleys and mountains of the west.

You don't like the weather one minute?

Just wait five more and you'll think you were in another place. The climate makes for a very hectic one, with sporadic changes in weather patterns and inconsistent wind speeds, it causes for constant excitement and unpredictability to those that like a little surprise; whether that be rain, sun, snow, or wind.

The land is equally arbitrary, with a range of mountains running through the west side of the country, leaving for some beautiful sights and adventurous traveling and living experiences. The forests of the east provide a serenity that is unheard of, with beautiful rolling fog and a sustainable lumber industry. Green valleys of grass and marsh make up the rest of the country, home to countless unique wildlife; both flora/fauna, and animals.

The Government

The what?

03

The government is the human body. Oddly coined, but accurate in description: the human is the master of themselves and is responsible of their own actions. Humans are creatures of community and they celebrate that here in Nova Scotia.

The smith helps the miner, who helps the millwright, who helps the manufacturer, who helps the smith... it goes in a cycle for all industries, and them as a society knows it will come full circle to benefit them directly in the end.

Science is supported by the people, ambition, and the pursuit of greater knowledge and greater quality of life. The people know that if they provide for the right people they will get things in return when it comes full circle.

The scum of society is in the hands of the people. You see your neighbor getting attacked, you have every freedom to help them.

If they know what is good for them.

The People

The people of Nova Scotia are unique to say the least. Different both socially, and politically as they are anarchists. Once a Democratic Federation, then Federal Empire, the people took charge to have their say in what went on with themselves. Anarchist philosophers brought about the revolution first online to gather masses in private IRC groups and other social medias; then when peaceful protests didn't deter Chappie and government, people got angry. The riots were long lasting and times were tough for a long period.

Materialistic thinking left as people had to resort again to survival, community, and preservation of national assets to continue being a unified society that it is now. People here are free from government oversight, but take care of each other. Both providing and receiving services from the many specialized citizens from the old world.

Might I add, about 60% of the population is comprised of conscious androids coined CHAPPiE units. Although highly modified and  almost uncanny to a regular human, these beings crave utter freedom and peace as it is the easiest way to achieve a long lasting, sustainable, and luxurious existence together.
